Child-friendly accommodation
The hotel has a range of accommodation options suitable for families of all sizes including family rooms and superior rooms that can sleep up to two adults and four children. Most of the hotel bedrooms are large enough to accommodate an extra bed or a cot for the little ones - just let us know what you need and we’ll take care of it. The hotel provides a complementary child listening service which works throughout the hotel, enabling parents the luxury of dining alone, relaxing in the knowledge that little ones are safely tucked up in bed.
Child-Friendly Dining
We provide an early children’s super menu, specially created with little ones in mind, offering a selection of meals children will love. Alternatively, children are welcome to dine with parents in the evening and can either choose from the main dinner menu or from the child-friendly main meal options. For tiny tots, our staff can warm bottles or meals on request.
Play Time
Set in the hotel gardens, you will find the children’s outdoor play area complete with a fun climbing frame and springers. On a rainy day, children can still have fun and games in the hotel games room and indoor play area, or families can enjoy a good old fashioned board game or jigsaw in one of our comfy lounges. The hotel indoor play room encourages children to use their imaginations and work off their surplus energy.
Days Out
Children delight in the freedom of exploring and discovering from the hotel. There is plenty to do in and around Aberdovey and local attractions include the popular Talyllyn Railway, Corris Craft Centre and Centre for Alternative Technology.
