Another year draws to a close

As another year draws to a close, we would normally be hearing the last footsteps leaving and reflect on recent events. 

This year has been like no other in the hotel’s history. We’ve seen the second longest closure since the Second World War, when the hotel was converted into a girls’ finishing school. It was ironic that, on VE day this year, it was 75 years since the hotel was last closed.  

During this period of closure, our busy office team have been working on lots of fresh and exciting ideas for 2021, so our time has not been futile. Although we miss our guests immensely and the hubble bubble of life, it has been a good opportunity for us to work on some exciting plans - watch this space!

This year, we are proud to receive the Good Hotel Guide Editor’s Choice awards for both Family and Golfing Hotel 2021. The Trefeddian has welcomed families, couples and dog lovers for over 115 years - happy guests who return to enjoy our unique heritage and hospitality year after year.

We hope to see you all again in 2021 and make your holidays memorable with those you love the most on this stunning Welsh coast.
