Reflecting on 2025

As we prepare to close our doors after another wonderfully busy year, our dedicated team are ready to enjoy their well‑earned rest. This pause gives us the perfect opportunity to reflect on 2025 and all that it has brought.

 

We must take this opportunity to wish the Cave-Browne-Cave family every happiness in their future since they handed over the reigns of the Trefeddian to the BLS Hotel group in October. Caroline is still an active member of the team here until next Spring when she will finally get to put her feet up, enjoy her retirement and spend quality time with her family and grand children. The new share-holders wish to retain the Trefeddian charm and have no plans to change what has worked for the last 120 years!

 

We have had a successful year at The Trefeddian during which we were awarded the AA Breakfast Award for 2025, the Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Award for 2025, The Good Hotel Guide Seaside Hotel of the Year 2025 and were finalists in the Go North Wales Hotel of the Year. We also had a visit from the AA and we have retained our 4 star status. We are very proud of these accolades and would like to thank all our staff, who without their hard work it would not be possible.

 

Most importantly, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our guests. Your loyalty, kindness, and enthusiasm make the Trefeddian what it is. Whether you have been visiting us for generations or joined us for the first time this year, your presence has enriched our story. We are deeply grateful for the friendships formed, the memories shared, and the trust you place in us to be part of your holidays.

 

As we look ahead to January and the start of a new year, we eagerly anticipate welcoming back familiar faces, seeing families grow, and greeting new guests who we hope will soon become regulars too. Whatever 2026 may bring, one thing is certain at the Trefeddian, you will always find a warm welcome, a smile, and a place to feel at home.
