Rainy Days
For the young at heart , stay in the hotel - enjoy a swim in the indoor pool and relax in the spa bath. Follow on with a game of snooker, pool or table tennis, then indulge in a sparkling afternoon tea in one of our lounges while enjoying the rain splattered view.
For the little children, if you want to venture out, a drive to Barmouth will find you at Bendi-Gedig (fantastic, brilliant, wonderful) - a soft play area designed by mums for children up to the age of 12 years.
Anglesey Sea Zoo is also well worth a visit; with over 40 tanks, it has the best of British marine life including octopus, lobster, seahorses, conger eels and jellyfish, all making the most of the wet.
Bounce Below for 7 year olds and over - with one hour sessions, you will forget about the weather whilst unleashing your inner thrill seeker as you slide and bounce your way through the disused mine.
At Corris Craft Centre, the adults can visit the Dyfi Gin Distillery and have a little taste of our local gin range. And pottery painting is always a favourite with youngsters.
Alternatively, just put on a rain coat, pull on your welly-bobs and venture outside. A nice bath and hot chocolate will soon warm you up on your return and the drying room will see your wet weather gear dry and ready for another outing very quickly.
Top tip: Never let the rain stop you playing - always carry an umbrella.
