Sous Chef

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our passionate and hard-working Kitchen team. Within our team you will create and cook for our daily changing dinner menu, using fresh, local and seasonal produce for our hotel guests.

What we are looking for...

  • All round experience and skills are required for this role, with knowledge of a variety of dishes beneficial
  • Ability to plan and prepare starters
  • Experience of dessert making would be an advantage but not essential to assist pastry chef
  • Ability to cover the head chef for holidays would be required
  • Enthusiasm essential but training on the job will be given to the right candidate

About the role...

  • Full time position - 42-45 hours per week over 5 days
  • Share of tronc tips
  • Fixed weekly rota
  • Free staff meals provided on duty
  • Free uniform provided
  • 28 days holiday per year

  • All year round permanent position with Christmas and New Year off
