April Fool's Day

Over the years, many a prank has been played between staff at the Trefeddian on April Fool’s Day. The most notable was played a few years ago when one of the receptionists wrapped the entire office in newspaper!

Spring Forward

With the clocks changing this weekend we are getting very excited about longer days and lighter evenings.

Hopefully it won’t be too long until we are able to reopen and you can enjoy the stunning sunsets that we are blessed with here at the Trefeddian.

St David's Day

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi hapus

We would normally be looking forward to celebrating all things Welsh here at the Trefeddian on 1st March, serving special welsh dishes from hearty cawl, local lamb, delicious welsh cheeses and Penderyn whiskey inspired desserts.  The hotel would be adorned with daffodils and the Bro Dysynni Welsh Choir would be singing traditional welsh songs whilst our guests enjoyed special welsh after dinner drinks from the bar.

This St David’s day will be quite different for us all, we won’t be able to celebrate in the same way and we will miss our guests but that doesn’t stop us showing casing the best Wales has to offer.  We share with you the things that make Wales so special…

pancake

Have A Flippin' Lovely Day!

To celebrate Shrove Tuesday we will all be trying our hand at a slightly different pancake to normal.  Not that we don’t like the traditional pancake with a dash of lemon juice and sugar or a savoury filling but now that we’ve got a bit more time on our hands we thought we’d flip out and go for something different!

Talking To Louis Hiatt From The Aberdyfi Players

This time of year we would normally be looking forward to welcoming guests ready for the annual outing to the village pantomime coupled with excitement and anticipation as to what surprises the Aberdyfi Players would have in store for us
